The project portfolio management software, which has been lauded as a “crystal ball for construction†by Constructech Magazine, assimilates data from traditional job management systems, providing users with instant insights into factors like cash flow, cost and forecast ability that help, or hold back, a project.
The new translation feature will enable international construction companies to use English-based scheduling and forecasting software. Within minutes, schedules can be translated into English, meaning there is a reduced need for construction outfits to reply on intermediaries such as consultants and translators. Following the translation process, the software inputs schedules into traditional systems like Oracle Primavera P6 using Built On Vision technology to run analyses to identify problems and improve efficiencies.

Scheduling is a hugely important factor for industries such as construction, oil and manufacturing. According to Built On Vision’s research, only 2.5% of construction firms complete their projects on timeOpens a new window and on budget, with delays causing severe and costly problems. One out of six projects experiences a 70% schedule overrun and cost overruns of 200%, equating to an average of $167 million.
