On June 12, 2020, Wipro Limited announced that Wipro VirtuaDeskâ„¢Opens a new window , Wipro’s Desktop as a Service solution, and Wipro’s Digital Workspace solution, will join forces with Citrix Systems, Inc. and Microsoft.

The goal of this integration is to help customers drive business continuity while executing operations maintaining social distancing and other limitations that have evolved due to the pandemic.

While Citrix provides a complete range of digital workspace solutions that ensure business continuity amid any disruption, Microsoft brings a comprehensive set of technologies to enable the rapid implementation of cloud virtual desktop infrastructure solutions.

Wipro will leverage Citrix® Workspaces, Citrix® Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix Gateway, and Citrix Analytics and integrate Microsoft’s Azure Active Directory, multi-factor authentication, Windows Defender Advanced Threat Protection (ATP) for securing the desktop from external threats, among other technologies.

The partnership provides a strong foundation of the complementary skills of Wipro, Citrix, and Microsoft for clients, allowing them to rapidly deploy secure digital workspaces. By integrating Microsoft and Citrix’s services, Wipro will create a high-performance virtual compute environment based on cloud architecture and next-gen digital workspace technology.
