Network intelligence platform provider Kentik, announced a new growth funding of $23.5 million and cloud-based phone system Aircall has raised $65 million in Series C funding this week.

Vistara Capital Partners led a growth funding round for network intelligence and business insights provider KentikOpens a new window , along with participation from existing investors August Capital, Third Point Ventures, DCVC, and Tahoma Ventures.

CEO, Avi Freedman in an exclusive conversation with Toolbox said, “With Kentik’s new growth round, we’ll use this funding to continue product expansion and for go-to-market investments, focusing on adding more functionality to enable the network professionals who build and run the connected world.”

As Avi Freedman said on a company release that many of their customers had experienced a 200% to 500% increase in traffic growth on their networks in recent months. “we now have real-time visibility into over 1 trillion traffic measurements per day across billions of users, and see every network connected to the internet, and every cloud and SaaS provider,” he added.

Aircall ready to step up with enhanced voice conversations

Cloud-based communication provider AircallOpens a new window too raised $65 million in Series C and brought their total funding to $106 million. The company aims to make conversations better by integrating its voice call service with any collaboration software that the organization is currently using.

The company is building a SaaSOpens a new window platform for phone calls that organizations can deploy to operate call centers or to handle support requests, thus enhancing the productivity and workflow of the service or support organization. Ever since the COVID-19 pandemic has forced companies especially in the customer support and services sector to explore more distributed and remote workforce models, the need for stronger calling systems has become a priority.

The funding led by DTCP, along with Adam Street, eFounders, Draper Esprit, Balderton, and NextWorld, will fuel not just the growth of products and services, but also help in geographic expansion. So far the company has a footprint across 1500 client companies across 84 countries.
