This week, Red Hat announced enhancements to its Ansible Automation Platform to accelerate automation implementation in routine IT tasks, and RPA provider BluePrism released new survey results around the growth of intelligent automation.

Equipped with all necessary tools including Red Hat Ansible Engine, Red Hat Ansible Tower, Red Hat Ansible Network Automation, and Certified Content Collections, the platform ensures smarter and efficient implementation of automation.

In the new Ansible Automation Platform, Red Hat rolled out new features such as Automation service catalog, Automation Analytics automation calculator, and added new features to Red Hat Ansible Tower 3.7 for faster automation of repetitive IT and operational tasks.

The other aspect of the product update was the Ansible Content Collections, which minimizes bottlenecks in automation implementation and provides access to packaged and certified Ansible content such as modules, plugins, roles, documentation, and playbooks that helps organizations to quickly kickstart automation. Red Hat has now added 17 new collections or playbooks on to the Automation Hub, to support automation tasks on platforms such as AWS, Splunk, Arista, Cisco, IBM, Juniper, and more. Additionally, the new playbooks will automate Red Hat Insights and Red Hat Satellite.
