Bhavna Dave joins LaserShip as CHRO
June 8, 2020 – LaserShip, the regional e-commerce parcel carrier in the U.S., appointed Bhavna Dave as chief human resources officer. Dave will be based in LaserShip’s Vienna, Virginia headquarters, and will focus on designing the company’s HR strategy and execution.
Dave has more than 15 years of human resources experience. Before joining LaserShip, she worked at Frontpoint, leading the HR function, and AddThis, where she was responsible for establishing a collaborative, high-performing culture.
Dave graduated from St. Mary’s University with a BBA in human resources and received her MBA in finance from American University.

Reali appoints Varun Bhatia as its first chief people officer
June 9, 2020 – Reali, the real estate technology company, has hired Varun Bhatia to join the leadership team as the company’s first chief people officer (CPO).
As a part of his job, Varun will be responsible for developing strategies that strengthen Reali’s growth while driving employee engagement, recruitment, and systems needed for the most disruptive team in residential real estate.
Varun has served as the CPO of AirAsia Group, CHRO of Levi Strauss & Co., and in executive positions at Kraft Foods, Procter & Gamble, and The Gillette Company. He has also been an instructor at the University of California, Berkeley Extension School, teaching in Leadership and Management with a focus on Silicon Valley innovation.
Varun completed his bachelor’s in economics from Shri Ram College of Commerce and a master’s in human resources management from XLRI Jamshedpur.
Marshall Hospitality announces new chief people officer and chief operating officer
June 10, 2020 – Marshall Hospitality, the Franklin-based restaurant group, has named former COO Claire Crowell as chief people officer and former director of operations Lyle Richardson as chief operating officer.
Crowell began her career with A. Marshall Hospitality in 2008 as a manager for the Puckett’s brand. She will oversee human resources and employee development.
Richardson joined A. Marshall Hospitality as director of operations in 2019. Richardson has played a pivotal role in fine-tuning the company’s day-to-day operations while building profitability and efficiency within each restaurant.

Raytheon Technologies names Dantaya Williams CHRO
June 10, 2020 – Raytheon Technologies has appointed Dantaya Williams as chief human resources officer.
Williams will succeed Doug Balsbough, who is retiring from the company after guiding the HR function through the closing of the merger of Raytheon Company and United Technologies (UTC).
Williams joined the company in 1999 and was most recently vice president of human resources for the Commercial Engines division of Pratt & Whitney, overseeing key initiatives in talent, diversity, employee relations, and HR transformation for its global workforce.
