1. Actifio Unveils Data Protection Solution

2. Ahana Makes PrestoDB Available on AWS Marketplace and DockerHub

Presto based analytic company AhanaOpens a new window announced the availability of Linux Foundation’s utterly open-source PrestoDB Amazon Machine Image (AMI) on the AWS Marketplace, becoming the first to do so. The company has also made a PrestoDB container available on DockerHub.

“Presto is one of the fastest-growing open-source projects in data analytics and is still in the early stages of adoption, so tools like cloud and container offerings that help users get up and running are critical,” said Steven Mih, co-founder, and CEO, Ahana in an exclusive comment to Toolbox. “Ahana is taking a critical first step in helping to build adoption by offering commercial support for PrestoDB cloud and container offerings.”

3. Amazon CodeGuru Now Generally Available

Amazon Web Service, a cloud service company, has made Amazon CodeGuruOpens a new window – a developer tool powered by machine learning – available generally. The tool provides intelligent recommendations for improving code quality and identifying an application’s most expensive code lines.

4. Aircall Launches New Suite of DeveloperTool for Better App Integration

AircallOpens a new window , a cloud-based voice platform, launched a suite of developer tools and resources, leveraging the power of its flexible public API. Helping customers and partners quickly build tools that fit their individual needs as customer service and sales teams adjust to the new normal.

Microsoft Azure announced that it is releasing a new Docker DesktopOpens a new window integrationthat delivers a combination of Docker and Microsoft Azure to use native Docker commands to run applications as serverless containers with Azure Container instances.

6. Blue Prism Launches Blue Prism Exchange (DX) 2.0

Robotics process automation company Blue PrismOpens a new window re-launched its Blue Prism Digital Exchange (DX) 2.0 – “a one-stop shop” for quickly accessing intelligent automation solutions. The new DX delivers unprecedented access to content, assets, and an online community that will enable users to accelerate automation deployments while integrating them with industry-leading software to drive digital transformation.

7. Google Makes Available Depth in ARCore 1.18 for Android and Unity

Tech giant Google had launched ARCore Depth APIOpens a new window at the end of last year, and has now announced that the Depth API is now available in ARCore 1.18 for Android and Unity. The AR Core Depth API enables users to generate a depth map with a single RGB camera with the depth-from-motion algorithms.

8. Infoworks Delivering DataFounder Test Drive

InfoworksOpens a new window , the Enterprise Data Operations and Orchestration (EDO2) systems company, announced that it has made a DataFoundry test drive available that will deliver a free, hosted offering. 9. Instana to Trace Applications Running on AWS with Monitoring Solution

Automated application performance management solutions for microservice application provider, Instana, unveiled new monitoring and tracking capabilitiesOpens a new window for applications running on AWS Fargate. The solutions will deliver automated Fargate application monitoring that captures a distributed trace of every application request.

10. JFrog launches Security-Focused, Immutable Chart Repository for Helm

JFrogOpens a new window , the universal DevOps technology provider known for enabling liquid software via continuous update flows, announced the launch of ChartCenter, the first free, security-focused central repository of Helm charts. It allows developers to easily access compatible versions of any publicly available Helm chart, which are currently stored in various locations across the web, and can be changed or removed at any time.

“ChartCenter accelerates the adoption of Helm and the shift to cloud-native applications with Kubernetes by addressing developer pain and ecosystem gaps. 11. Kong Inc. Donates Open Source Kuma

Cloud connectivity company Kong announced that they had donated the open-source Kuma to the Cloud Computing Foundation. Kuma is a universal control plane that enables seamless management of any service on the network, from any platform—including Kubernetes, containers, virtual machines, bare metal, and other environments.

“Kuma is the first-ever Envoy-based service mesh to be donated to the CNCF foundation as a Sandbox project. This finally brings a powerful yet easy–to–use service mesh to the broader community, with a neutral and open DNA to expand the adoption of service mesh in enterprise environments.” Marco Palladino, CTO and co-founder of Kong, said in an exclusive chat with Toolbox.

The company further announced that they are bringing service mesh to the hybrid workload with a new version of Kuma.

“Built thanks to the feedback of Kuma’s enterprise users, Kuma 0.6 finally brings service mesh to every enterprise environment – even the more complex ones – via the new built-in support for hybrid Kubernetes and VMs clusters, including multi-cloud support. Work OS platform Monday.com unveiled a new Apps framework that will deliver unlimited access for building custom applications on the platform with limitless use cases. The low-code platform enables all businesses to develop applications on the platform. .

15. Nutanix Brings IT Solutions for Cloud Infrastructure

The enterprise cloud computing company NutanixOpens a new window unveiled a new solution for IT teams that will enable them to deploy, upgrade, and troubleshoot cloud infrastructures, independent of their work location. The solution will deliver relief to IT teams working endlessly to troubleshoot in the cloud, at a time when companies are rapidly shifting to remote work.

16. OpsRamp Delivering Better Customer Experience

SaaS platform OpsRampOpens a new window , which delivers hybrid infrastructure discovery, monitoring, management, and automation, announced a new cloud monitoring capability. 17. Outlier Makes Data Analysis Easier

Automated business analysis platform OutlierOpens a new window launched automated insights to easily flag changes in data patterns.
