Post merger, Lifesize and Serenova unite brands under Lifesize umbrella and strengthens its executive ranks with new hires to fuel marketing and sales operations.

Three months on, the two companies have now decided to shed the brand differentiation by adopting Lifesize brand for future operations. A spokesperson for Lifesize said this is a part of their “long-term strategy to serve the enterprise communicationsOpens a new window market with a complementary suite of scalable cloud-based solutions”.

According to a Masergy study, 90% respondents prefer a fully managed service which Lifesize and Sernova merger facilitated. The recent move to consolidate UCaaS and CCaaS services under one name seems prudent to convey a strong message to the proliferating enterprise cloud collaboration and communication space which is growing at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 10% and expected to hit $60 billionOpens a new window through 2020-2026.

The newly unified company also brought in Josh KivenkoOpens a new window and Rick FroehlichOpens a new window as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) respectively. As CMO, Kivenko will oversee branding, product marketing, public/analyst relations, field marketing, growth, business development; while Froehlich in his capacity as the CRO will take care of sales & sales operations (both direct and indirect), for Lifesize products.
