NEC Dishes Up CCaaS and UCaaS Solutions for Canadian Market

Having sown the seeds a couple of months ago, NEC is on its way to capture the rapid proliferation of global cloud-based UCaaS and CCaaS in Canada.

NEC Corp is all set to serve the cloud PBX, team collaboration, file sharing and backup, and online meeting needs of the Canadian market with the general availability of their proprietary NEC UNIVERGE BLUE CONNECT, and NEC UNIVERGE BLUE ENGAGE in Canada.

NEC is going big on the Canadian market with its Intermedia partnership which is playing an outsized role in helping NEC claim back its hold by expanding their channel partnerships, which currently has 150 partnersOpens a new window . This was in the works for a while but got derailed due to NEC’s lack of cloud service proficiency in the region.

There are many important and needed differentiators when compared to other cloud communications providers that we believe our customers will embrace”.

Further, NEC has also announced the free availability of their standalone video conferencing app UNIVERGE BLUE MEET PRO through 2021, to all NEC customers in North America.
