Palo Alto Networks Intros Industry’s Largest Marketplace for SecOps Automation

The cybersecurity giant launched Cortex XSOAR Marketplace aimed to create an industry-driven security orchestration and automation nexus. Launch partners can now readily acquire and deliver content packs for management of IT resources and data.

Palo Alto Networks has launched a marketplace for security teams to leverage automation capabilities of its extended security orchestration, automation and response platform (XSOAR). The Cortex XSOAR platform streamlines security operations of an organization’s product and service stack, inclusive of processes and tools. It enables security teams to automate redundant tasks and alerts to deliver rapid responses for SecOps and incident response activities.

Rising concerns in SOAR justifies the expanding cybersecurity market, which is expected to reach a staggering $2.3 billionOpens a new window by 2025. SOAR provides appropriate tools to identify, homogenize, systematize and automate incident response functions. Greg Martin, General Manager for Security Business Unit at Sumo Logic said, “Enterprises are arguably dealing with more data today than ever before, and the pain security operations teams are feeling is significant. There’s never been a more important time to ensure IT security operations are up to par.”

Cortex XSOAR is aimed to help organizations with incidence response, threat intelligence management, cloud security orchestration, and vulnerability management. Further, security teams can now collaborate with industry peers and experts, to contribute as well as access resources pertaining to security operations.
