RedThread Research has announced the forming of a new Tech Consortium. The Consortium already has a few founding members and expects to attract more this year. Read more about the goal and objectives of this Tech Consortium and how members can benefit from it.

RedThread Research, an organization that provides insights into people practices, has announced forming a new Tech Consortium, which intends to support independent and unbiased HR tech research development.

Some of the Tech Consortium’s founding members include Axonify, Augmentir, Betterworks, Eightfold, SeekOut, Skillable, Visier, SplashBI, and Workday. Organizations that become the Tech Consortium’s members are expected to gain numerous benefits.

Founder Members to Partially Underwrite Research

As part of the Consortium, these companies will partially underwrite RedThread’s continuous research into people analytics, performance, L&D, and the technologies supporting the future of work while bringing deeper, actionable insights to customers.

The Consortium also intends to expand RedThread’s promise to explore tech trends and bring impartial analysis across diverse HR and L&D topics. Talking about the announcement, Stacia Garr, co-founder and principal analyst at RedThread Research, saidOpens a new window , “We take a principled and meticulous approach to how we do research. When you see RedThread’s name, we want you to immediately know it is going to be honest, unbiased research. This Consortium is a way that we can continue to deliver on that promise — and also invite our members to be part of our bigger commitment to high-quality analysis.”

Furthermore, companies that become members of the Consortium will gain access to an exclusive virtual hub where they can share ideas, ask questions, and spark innovations. Members can share relevant data with RedThread Research and work each year with customers to deliver key insights into the HR Tech industry through questionnaires. Members are also expected to gain exclusive or early access to more unbiased, substantive, and actionable research.

The Consortium is also expected to develop channels for organizations to communicate with each other, give feedback on proposed research questions, and contribute to data gathering.

Tech Consortium To Support a Few Research Projects This Year

The Tech Consortium is looking to support a few research projects this year. These projects include evaluating the technology marketplace Performance Management, DEIB, People Analytics, and Learning vendor solutions. Despite the Consortium enabling RedThread Research to do this work, other HR Tech vendors can still participate in the studies.
