RingCentral, Atos Target European Market With Co-Branded UCaaS Solution

RingCentral and Atos deepen their partnership with the launch of a new UCaaS solution, Unify Office which will allow the company to bolster its presence in the European market.

Cloud communications company RingCentral announced a partnership with global system integrator Atos to advance its foothold in the global UCaas market. The companies debuted a new, co-branded UCaaS solution, Unify Office (UO), by RingCentral, which will be offered to 40 million on-premises users of the Atos Unify portfolio, expanding its reach in the European market.

With Unify Office, partners and customers can seamlessly migrate to a robust cloud platform with minimal user disruption. Atos will combine Unify Office with Atos Unify OpenScape product and Atos Unify Cloud Contact Center solution, delivering a complete UCaaS solution to customers.

The deal has echoes of Avaya partnership inked last yearOpens a new window . RingCentral announced a strategic partnership with Avaya to become an exclusive provider of UCaaS. In February this year, the UCaaS heavyweights rolled out an end-to-end cloud-based solution for voice, team messaging, meetings, video conferencing, collaboration, dubbed Avaya Cloud Office by RingCentral.

So, how is the current deal different? Unify Office by RingCentral focuses on a global customer installed base. In fact, Atos will deliver Unify Office as an exclusive solution through the Atos Unify Channel Program, which will allow its reseller community of more than 1,700 partners worldwide to add their own value.
