SailPoint’s cloud-based identity management SaaS platform can be useful in managing enterprise level employees, and now non-employee or external identities like suppliers, contingent workers, partners; for accessibility across multiple applications. This includes the ability to grant, modify or revoke access privileges, even to those working remotely, as a part of the larger identity governance by the organization. The DivvyCloud CTO added, “Understanding the full picture of access in the cloud and working toward least privileged access are difficult , but necessary endeavors to ensure security in the cloud.”

The machine learning-driven platform, called Predictive Identity, features an “adaptive, autonomous, and predictive approach to identity that is required to securely enable today’s evolving workforce,” as EVP at Solutions and Technology for SailPoint, Grady Summers puts it. This, combined with the platform’s new certification and campaign configurability helps in anticipation of identity needs, in accordance with user behaviour learned through its ML capabilities, which it autonomously implements as prescribed by the user identity and regulatory compliances.
