E2open’s end-to-end supply chain platform includes intelligent applications that support manufacturing visibility, which in turn help engineers and technicians monitor the status of each product in real time as it works its way through the manufacturing process. The applications combine to improve lot tracking, genealogy and component tracking. They also aim at helping improve logistics around products, tracking them as they move through a company’s complex manufacturing and test processes.
E2open supports the dynamic construction of multilevel Lot/SN Genealogy and Lot/SN Material usage histories from all supply chain sources. This facility helps organizations manage both risk and cost.
Lot/SN specific trackingOpens a new window covers the tracking data and verification of outbound and inbound entries (sales and purchases) and ensures that they are the same. In that way, it functions as a fixed application within inventory management.
