Veritone and Getty Images Join Hands for Digital Media Hub

Veritone, the creator of aiWARE, the world’s first OS for artificial intelligence, and Getty Images have entered into a partnershipOpens a new window to launch a unified search service to power Veritone’s digital asset management portal — Digital Media Hub. The integration gives Getty and Veritone users a single interface to search, view and download content.

From a collaboration perspective, the integration with Getty images allows users to search and access content easily without switching between disparate platforms. In addition to this, the hub also provides accelerated content delivery and simplified project workflows.

Ryan Steelberg, president of Veritone shared that the tool is designed for future expansion to other content platforms as well. “The goal is for Digital Media Hub to serve as a centralized gateway for users to leverage both proprietary and third party content spread across any number of sources and help them access and utilize a larger universe of assets,” he said.

Currently, the platform is open to all the customers of Digital Media Hub and are required to have a subscription to Getty images as well.

The move underscores increased competition in the Digital Asset Management market, where put simply, vendors need to offer tighter integrations to stay on top. Integrations and AI capabilities could very well be the bright spot for growth.
