Shippo Survey Breaks Down USPS Package Delays

Shippo, a  multi-carrier shipping software company, surveyed Opens a new window the service levels of USPS’ Priority Mail and First Class Package Service (FCPS) for the time frame of July-August and May-June. The survey found that 17.45% more packages faced delaying, and 9.03% parcels took longer to arrive during the mid-summer months. For FCPS, per-package delays increased by 31.28%, while parcels took 8.8% longer to arrive than during the May-June time frame on average.
