Can Microsoft’s New DaaS Offering ‘Cloud PC’ Take On the Big Players?
Desktop as a Service has been around for a good while but it only caught on during the pandemic as a popular choice for enabling remote work. Microsoft, which already has an established cloud presence with its Azure global data centers is now eyeing a play in the DaaS market with its latest offering called Cloud PC. Selling points will be the global Azure infrastructure and subscription pricing. However, possible red flags such as the resilience of the Azure network also exist.
